Calsina Carré is opening its services to external hauliers with Calsina Carré Services, a secure space designed to accompany professional drivers on their route from Pont de Molins, 15 km from the French border. Calsina Carré Services is a translogistics centre strategically located at a border area that our customers have been using since the beginning of 2022.
Accompanying transport along its international route
This platform offers access to secure 24-hour parking, a service station and other quality services designed and intended for safer and more secure transport. There are currently 400 parking spaces available, and an extension is planned for the end of 2023
There are also other services designed for vehicles, such as car washes, tyre service and repairs, and the sale of safety components and spare parts.
We also offer logistical support as a forwarding agent, with storage, movement of goods and even transport partnerships.
Debate on the present and future of transport
During the Calsina Carré Services opening ceremony a round table was held, involving the participation of OnTurtle and various other companies and associations in the sector, such as Astic, Esporg and VIIA. They analysed the current situation in the sector, with special emphasis on the need to improve safety at rest areas in Europe.
The event was also attended by the Conseller d’Empresa i Treball de la Generalitat de Catalunya, Roger Torrent, the mayor of Pont de Molins and other representatives from the political and transport sector.
