Xavier Moser is OnTurtle’s new Sales Director. With wide ranging experience in the logistics and transport sector, his addition to our team will contribute to the company’s comprehensive knowledge and provide it with a new expert view so as to continue with our international expansion.

A long career in the world of transport and logistics

Moser, who began his career in transport management for the Volkswagen Group, has almost three decades of experience in the industry. During this time, he has held various roles in operations and business development within automotive, fashion, electronics and food projects in reference companies such as EXEL, DHL, Schnellecke and Logifrio. He has also worked as a consultant in transport and logistics for several companies in the sector.

From OnTurtle, we hope that his appointment will provide the company with an expert view of the sector, wide ranging knowledge on the needs of transport companies and a comprehensive understanding of the various situations that can arise along a driver’s route. This was confirmed by Josep Guaus, CEO, who explained that “having extensive experience in the logistics and transport sector, Xavier Moser has the technical capacity which gives him a good understanding of customer needs and demands”. According to Guaus, this know-how will make it possible to “continue caring for them”.

Time for the company’s international expansion

Xavier Moser’s joining OnTurtle comes at a time of growth for our company. “In this industry,” stated Xavier Moser himself, “change is continuous, but with experience you learn to constantly adapt to these changes and also to be resilient”. His knowledge is expected to keep us aligned with customers, taking into account the continuous changes in the sector.

With this new appointment, at OnTurtle we continue to strengthen our structure and organisation to continue our international expansion, attracting new companies in Europe.

OnTurtle is currently present in 10 European countries with an international network of more than 1,600 service stations, including almost a hundred gas stations. This commitment to natural gas started in 2018 to provide our customers with an energy alternative, driving the sector towards a more sustainable model. The intention is to continue growing along these lines.

New strategic alliances in the sector

In addition, 2022 started with other important agreements, synergies that reinforce and expand our portfolio of services to meet our customers’ demands. As a result of these partnerships, OnTurtle now offers the new Jonquera-Pont de Molins Translogistic Centre, on the border with France. This new strategic point of our network offers 400 new secure parking spaces, awning and tyre repairs, truck washing, freight exchange and reconditioning, Cross Docking or Terberg Use, among other things.

Also in the first quarter, we entered into a new alliance with Webtrans, an intelligent digital logistics management platform, to incorporate new services into our logistics management platform, such as e-CMR and Fast Payment. With these, we will better organise our customers’ work and speed up online procedures.
