Professional workshops, networking, conferences, meetings and moments to celebrate. The second quarter of the year has been very busy for professionals in the transport and logistics sector. After two years of restrictions, face-to-face activity has been recovering until it has practically reached the pre-pandemic spirit. This is the case of fairs such as the Salón Internacional de Logística (International Logistics Exhibition) (SIL Barcelona), which took place from 31 May to 2 June, and which was the ideal setting for the first edition of #AfterSIL, an afterwork organised by OnTurtle and Webtrans. The meeting, which was a great success, was designed to bring together the various players in the sector in a more informal setting.
SIL Barcelona makes a strong comeback
SIL Barcelona closed its 22nd edition with more than 12,000 visitors from 81 different countries. The benchmark trade fair for Logistics, Transport, Intralogistics and Supply Chain in Spain, the Mediterranean and Latin America made more than 6,620 contacts in the Networking Circle, reaffirming its role as a key meeting point for the sector.
In fact, networking has been reinforced, with the clear intention of generating new business opportunities.
El Rooftop del Quinto Quinta to hold the meeting
In this context, it is not surprising that OnTurtle, as a company with a clear vision of the future, has partnered with Webtrans to offer the first #AfterSIL, a professional and light-hearted meeting designed to bring together various professionals in a more relaxed atmosphere.
The event took place on the Quinto Quinta rooftop and was attended by a large number of people, including transport and logistics professionals and exhibitors, visitors and journalists who were visiting the show during those dates.
Next year SIL Barcelona plans to celebrate its 25th anniversary from 5 to 8 June in the very same city. And we at OnTurtle will certainly not miss this one!
