On 1 September we had the honour of being able to participate in a charity event to benefit the Przyladek Nadziei Hospital in Wroclaw, Poland. The local football team, Storwarzyszenie Orla Wasosz, invited Agrupació Barça Jugadors (ABJ) to play a charity match to raise funds to help the fight against childhood cancer.
We here in OnTurtle had the opportunity to collaborate as sponsors, doing our own part to help the cause. A part of our team also travelled to the site to lend support to the initiative. The organisation surprised them with a commemorative plaque of appreciation.
The match ended with a win for ABJ, although in these cases the cause is much more important than any outcome.
