Beyond Roundtable Discussions: Wellbeing in Action

The Wellbeing Event isn’t limited to discussions — from midday, it also features spaces designed to promote rest and genuine wellbeing for professional drivers.

Throughout the day, various wellness activities will take place in an area set up specifically for attendees, featuring activities designed to enhance comfort and help participants unwind while on the road. These will include services such as a barbershop, recreational areas with foosball, and activities designed to promote relaxation and socializing in a friendly setting.

In addition, the “Wellbeing Pledge” will be signed—a joint commitment by various stakeholders in the sector to continue promoting safer, more humane, and healthier working conditions for professional drivers across Europe.

A people-centered European initiative

The Wellbeing Event is part of the Wellbeing Days organized by ESPORG various locations across Europe. These meetings were created with the aim of promoting a more human-centered approach to commercial transportation, where the driver’s physical and mental wellbeing is considered a key factor in road safety and operational efficiency.

The initiative is part of the European “Drive Safe · Park Safe · Work Safe · Live Well” campaign, promoted by the European Wellbeing Initiative (EWELLIN) with the support of the European Commission.
