OnTurtle is opening new offices in the Molina de Segura Transport City, a key location for freight transport in Europe. The company’s new facilities are located on a 55,600 square metre plot, which is home to more than 7,500 companies linked to the professional transport sector. Through this expansion at OnTurtle we aim to provide our customers with a closer service, offering them more support, attention and services where they need us.
Closer to our customers
As with our more than 1,600 service stations in Europe, OnTurtle is committed to always offering a close service to our customers from strategic international locations, in order to gain efficiency and maintain the level of proximity that we are known for.
The Region of Murcia is one of the communities with the highest concentration of freight transport companies at a national level. According to data from the Ministry of Development, it currently accounts for 6% of the fleet of authorised heavy vehicles in Spain.
Its privileged location, in the middle of the “Orchard of Europe” and near the coast, the good condition of the roads and the lack of tolls are just some of the factors that have helped the region’s economy to develop, turning it into a base for the transport of goods by road in Europe. That is why at OnTurtle we wanted to strengthen our service by opening new offices in this logistics enclave.
Increased services for professional transport
The Molina de Segura Transport City is strategically located and contains more than 7,500 companies from the freight transport sector, enabling them to easier work in synergy together. It is an estate of more than 55,600 square metres in size, with access control and 24-hour surveillance to guarantee maximum security and key services for professional drivers, such as a service station, truck cleaning area, workshop, offices, a restaurant, training centre, toilets and changing rooms.
These new OnTurtle offices in the City of Transport are in addition to our head office in Mercabarna, Barcelona, another strategic point for the fruit and vegetable transport sector in the continent. And we also have our facilities in La Jonquera, on the border with France, which offer all the services that drivers may need on their route through Europe.
