We here at OnTurtle have one goal: to make mobility more sustainable. To do so, we are committed to the use of renewable energies and we are working to implement new measures that help to reduce our impact on the environment with greater energy efficiency.
This July, we took it one step further with the installation of a new photovoltaic plant on the roof of the La Jonquera service station, which is in addition to the solar thermal panels already in the area. That way, in addition to making hot water for the facilities, the service station is now also producing clean energy.
Energy savings and reduced emissions
The new plant is already operational and has an expected annual output of 23,7000 kW/h, which represents a 7,861 kg reduction in CO2.
In addition to promoting renewable energies, we here at OnTurtle have also taken other measures in La Jonquera to make the facility more energy efficient. For example, we replaced the light bulbs with energy-efficient LED lights.
With every little gesture, we make our commitment to the environment a reality.
