OnTurtle La Jonquera is a Service Area that goes much further than the rest, covering an area of more than 25,000 m2. This service area, covering the border enclave with France, provides carriers with all the services and amenities they need, within a key location for international transport in and out of the Iberian Peninsula.
With an exclusive microfiltration plant that allows fuel of the highest quality to be sold, as well as a video-monitored parking area for 50 trucks that is recognised by ESPORG as one of the safest parking areas in Europe, the La Jonquera station is undoubtedly one of the most outstanding on the continent.
The station has an innovative refuelling control system that checks the license plate of each vehicle to confirm that it matches the one registered on the fuel card, before allowing it to be refuelled. These 8 cameras, plus 32 others distributed throughout the area, contribute towards reinforcing the high security of the site.
Any OnTurtle DieselCard is accepted for payment at this station.

Control
Innovative system in Europe
To set the fleet manager’s mind at ease, the La Jonquera station has an innovative system, one of the first of its kind in Europe, to control refueling.
The system has eight cameras that record the vehicle’s license plate number when it comes in for refuelling. If the license plate isn’t the same as the one on the fuel card, the system will not let refuelling begin. Through the website’s Customer Area, business owners can see all of their vehicles’ transactions live in La Jonquera.
In addition to the license plate reading system devices, the station has 32 surveillance cameras distributed throughout the area that ensure the enclosure’s safety.
Security
One of the safest and best equipped on the continent
Resting worry-free is key so the haulier can get back on the road good as new. Our parking lot, certificated by ESPORG, the European secure parking organisation as one of the safest and best equipped on the continent, has 50 spacious spots for trucks to keep their freight safe and make sure their drivers are able to rest.
The parking lot is fenced all around and you need a personal code to enter. It has 24 hour a day security with a total of 11 surveillance cameras that cover the enter lot.

Exclusive microfiltration plant
The search for product excellence is one of our constant goals. That is why we have an exclusive microfiltering plant – one of a kind in Europe – which all the fuel at our station is passed through.
When it arrives in the tank, the gas oil is deposited after previously going through the microfiltering plant which eliminates suspended or dissolved solids, humidity and bacteria. That way we can ensure maximum product quality and spend more time on maintenance for engine gas oil filters and truck injection systems.
