Start of the Transcard loyalty programme, the first such programme dedicated to professional transport and later also targeted at passenger vehicles. Celebration of the first Truck Only Festival at the La Jonquera Service Area.

Creation of the independent company RedTortuga. Opening of the La Jonquera Service Area, the first in Spain designed exclusively for trucks.

Opening of the Mercabarna Service Station, originally under another brand. This was the first fully automated station in Spain.
